Happened across a new band from Seattle called Wayfarer. They re-purpose old hymns and have harmonies that tickle your ears in a soothing way. Here are a couple of their songs:
The first song is "Jesus, Cast A Look On Me". An older Wayfarer recording. Love the words in this song set to old home video footage. The clips remind me of watching old home movies on the projector at home when we were kids. I remember being that little boy, riding round and round on those cars at the fair.
Here is a brand new song, "Alas and Did My Savior Bleed?" This song has more of the sweet harmonies that are resident on their new (and free) EP, The River.
We just took pictures of Ruby and Owen on cars just like that at a fair we went to. Love it. Thanks for sharing!
